I know I’m late for talking about my 2014 highlights, but I enjoyed a few weeks off blogging to spend time with my family! Now, I’m back at blogging, and I’m excited for what’s to come this year! 2014 was a great year for training and racing! I had a great time learning, experiencing new things, and becoming a better athlete! Here’s my ‘Best of 2014’ highlights.
January: I didn’t have any races, but I wrote some good posts-here was my most popular one of the month: Making your own hot and cold packs!
February: I began my sponsorship with my chiropractor which led to a very healthy year for my back!
March: I started the T25 Beta workouts.
April: My first race of the year! The ORRRC Xenia Marathon! I placed 1st overall female and got a new PR!
May: My husband and I celebrated our anninversary!
July: I placed 5th in my age group at Ironman 70.3 Muncie AND qualified for Ironman 70.3 World Championships!
August: To help out my cousin, I raced a 5k where I placed 1st overall and had a great time!
September: My HUGE month! I competed in The Ironman 70.3 World Championships!!
As you can see, 2014 was a PACKED year! I can’t wait to see what 2015 holds for us!! Thanks for being my devoted readers!
