It’s been a while since I’ve updated you all on how T25 is going! John and I did 7 weeks straight 5 days a week, but then we got tired out and had to take a break. Last week, I got back into it, but decided to only do it on Sundays, Mondays, and optional Wednesdays. My plan is to do a core workout on Sundays, then two workouts on Monday (focused on upper/lower/or total body). If I do one on Wednesday, it’ll be core again. This way, I can focus on my normal triathlon workouts, but be able to have some good strength training on Mondays, and some intense core a couple days a week!
I started the Beta cycle this week, and it’s killer! On Sunday, I did Dynamic Core. At first, it didn’t seem much harder than the Alpha Ab Intervals, but then there started to be some crazy difficult moves! I plan to switch back and forth between the Alpha Ab Intervals, and the Dynamic Core for Sundays.
Yesterday, I decided to try out the Beta Upper Focus. It actually wasn’t too bad, so I thought I’d try the Cardio Core. “How hard can it be?” I thought….. Well….it was HARD! So hard! Oh my word, I don’t think I’ve EVER done a harder workout! Possibly I could have felt like it was harder than it actually was because I did do the Upper Focus first. But the hardest part had nothing to do with the upper body, it was all the squats, lunges, jumps, and burpees! SO MANY! I am not looking forward to doing that one again…
Next week, I’m going to try the Rip’t Circuit. I think that’s Beta’s version of Total Body. I’ll be sure and let you know how it goes!
